ESPC Badminton Players Headed To OFSAA

Eight Ecole Secondaire de Pain Court badminton players will compete this week at the OFSAA badminton championships.

The tournament will take place between May 3 to May 5 in Windsor at St. Clair College.

At SWOSSAA, the Pain Court boys doubles team of Aidan Lachine and Ryen Stevens won the boys double title. They were the lone local team to win a division at the SWOSSAA championships.

Also qualifying for OFSAA were Rachel Benn in girls singles, Brenden Hunter in boys singles, the boys doubles team of Joe Zarebski and Mattieu Gaudrault, and the girls doubles team of Autumn Hamilton and Sara Underwood.

UCC’s Olivia Lozon also qualified in girls singles.
